Well, here I go. No doubt this is how a great many other 'first blog' entries have gone, leaving me to add to the new cliche. "I can't believe I'm blogging.... blah blah blog."
'What's next,' you might ask, 'Facebook?!' Which would be a correct guess. After years of lurking on the outskirts of the interweb I'm jumping right into the 90's! Or I guess the early 21st century might be more accurate. Either way it should be fun. I mean, I woke up this morning and thought "Man, how could I waste even more of my time on the computer/internetsweb than I do already?"
This seems like the best way to start.
And now I will cease to make note of or acknowledge my amazement at my web presence and get on with the dirty business of blogging.
I'm back in the great state of Alaska after a successful climbing trip in Argentine Patagonia. I think I'll be able to add pics and whatnot here, so I'll keep the writing short. The trip started out on the rocks, as my good friend and longtime climbing partner Freddie W. got waylayed by Life and had to pull the plug. A definite blow to my hopes of Patagonian summit glory, yes, but a good decision on the F-Bomb's part. No sense in making that sort of trip if your heart is not in it.
The attention span has reached its limit for the moment. You'll have to take this abortion as my best effort this morning. Patagonia trip details to follow...
